Easton received his undergraduate degree from University of California, Berkeley and his JD from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.  Prior to joining the firm, Easton practiced in the area of civil litigation defense.  His practice will focus on the defense of individuals, businesses, and entities who have been sued in general liability, transportation, and employment matters.

Richard Linkert was retained by Cakebread Cellars during the early stages of the Glass Fire after Cal Fire seized solar electric fencing and related equipment as a suspected ignition source. He was able to quickly assemble a team of wildfire experts who ultimately demonstrated that the fire did not start on Cakebread property. The team cooperated with Cal Fire investigators and shared evidence upon request. Cal Fire released its report last week exonerating Cakebread.
