Harjeet is a litigation associate with Matheny Sears Linkert & Jaime, LLP. She earned her Juris Doctorate from McGeorge School of Law, graduating with Distinction and was inducted into the prestigious Traynor Honor Society. During her time at McGeorge, Ms. Gidha worked as a Student Attorney as McGeorge’s Victims of Crime Law Clinic, where she represented and counseled clients.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Gidha gained extensive experience as an attorney working in diverse government, public, and private sector roles that encompass considerable advocacy, policy development, and civil litigation experience. Her career began with a community-based civil rights organization in New York City, where she substantively engaged with federal agencies, the U.S. Congress, and local elected officials, focusing on developing and promoting policy solutions for civil rights issues. Before transitioning into the private sector where she handles complex and high-exposure litigation claims in Federal and State courts, Ms. Gidha provided direct advocacy to survivors of crime.

Her broad legal background brings a unique depth and perspective to her legal practice. Born and raised in New York City, Ms. Gidha has a diverse worldview. Outside of her professional work, Ms. Gidha enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and cooking.
