Ms. Budac is a litigation associate with Matheny Sears Linkert & Jaime, LLP. She earned her Juris Doctor from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento in May of 2023, where she was an active member of the Women’s Justice Society.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Budac gained extensive experience as a paralegal, supporting attorneys in various stages of litigation. She has assisted in prosecuting complex suits in employment and labor law, including Fair Employment and Housing Act matters and Civil Rights claims under State and Federal laws. Additionally, she handled cases in personal injury and workers’ compensation as a legal assistant.

Ms. Budac’s professional journey includes significant achievements at the California State Legislature, where she helped draft and monitor legislative bills, such as the Assembly Concurrent Resolution 118 celebrating the sustainable leadership of California wineries, and the Assembly Concurrent Resolution 100 designating a section of State Highway 1 as the “Jere Melo Memorial Highway.” This legislative experience deepened her understanding of the lawmaking process and enhanced her analytical skills. During college, Ms. Budac expanded her expertise in the insurance industry by managing automobile and home policies.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from California State University, Sacramento, where she was inducted into the National Political Science Honor Society.

Outside of her professional work, Ms. Budac enjoys traveling, spending time with family, reading, cooking, fashion, and snowboarding. Fluent in Romanian, Ms. Budac brings a rich cultural perspective to her professional endeavors and is actively involved in the Greater Sacramento Romanian community.
