Mr. Pereira is a litigation associate at Matheny Sears Linkert & Jaime, LLP.  He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in May 2024 and was licensed to practice law following the California Bar Exam in July 2024.  During law school, Mr. Pereira clerked for Matheny Sears Linkert & Jaime, LLP, where he worked on employment, personal injury, and public entity defense cases.  Before joining the firm, Mr. Pereira worked as a certified law student at the Yolo County Public Defender’s Office, where he represented clients in court and developed a strong commitment to advocacy. 

Mr. Pereira earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from San Francisco State University During his undergraduate years, he gained valuable experience working in the healthcare industry, where he developed strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Born and raised in the Central Valley to Portuguese immigrant parents from the Azores Islands of Portugal, Mr. Pereira understands the value of hard work and embracing people from all backgrounds.  Outside of work, Mr. Pereira enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, as well as pursuing his interests in dirt biking, snowboarding, and traveling to new places.
