Joseph F. Offenhauser




Mr. Joseph F. Offenhauser is a litigation associate with Matheny Sears Linkert & Jaime, LLP. He graduated from the University of California, Davis Law School in May 2021 and passed the California Bar Exam several months later.

Mr. Offenhauser clerked for Matheny Sears Linkert & Jaime during law school. Mr. Offenhauser was previously a judicial extern for Hon. Chief Judge Ronald H. Sargis at the U.S. Eastern District Bankruptcy Court in Sacramento. As a law student, Mr. Offenhauser was elected to King Hall’s Moot Court Honors Board. He also served as a teaching assistant for Hon. Judge Shama H. Mesiwala’s Appellate Advocacy program.

Mr. Offenhauser worked at a public relations firm in San Francisco and directed digital operations for a small startup company before entering the field of law. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.A. in Journalism and Communications in 2014. He graduated from Granite Bay High in 2010.

Mr. Offenhauser grew up in Reno, Nevada and moved to California in 2003. He now lives in Midtown with his girlfriend and their French Bulldog, Banks. Among other things, Joe enjoys golfing, skiing, walking Banks, and watching the Ducks or 49ers play football.
